徳島生まれの徳島育ち。
神戸市外国語大学 外国語学部 国際関係学科卒
高校2年生の夏から1年間、交換留学生としてアメリカの公立ハイスクールに留学。
●TOEIC 935点／990点満点
大学卒業後、徳島のタウン情報誌出版社【株式会社あわわ】に勤務し、編集に携わったのち、『アメリ』などを手がけた独立系映画配給会社で営業のかたわら、『恐るべきさぬきうどん』のDVDをプロデュース、全国発売。
2010年11月より7年間、木製家具メーカーにて勤務。
ミラノをはじめとする海外での展示会、海外デザイナーとのミーティングやワークショップ、海外取引に携わった経験を活かし、2017年に独立。
現在はカイ・クリスチャンセン氏をはじめ、海外デザイナーや海外企業のアテンドや通訳をするほか、【MOHEIM】など日本国内のプロダクトブランドおよび中小企業の広報・海外コミュニケーション・英語サポート業務を担当。
ライターとしても活動中で【瀬戸内Finder】のフォトライターとして日本語・英語にて記事を執筆するほか、各種媒体に寄稿。
『全国通訳案内士（英語）』の2019年度試験に合格。
2018年の第一期生として合格した『香川せとうち地域通訳案内士』とともに、通訳ガイドとして活動の幅を広げる。
なかでも、瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019/2022のオフィシャルツアーではそれぞれ何度もガイドを務め、日本語のみならず英語で案内を行った（豊島・犬島・男木島・女木島・大島・小豆島・高見島・本島・伊吹島・粟島）。

Yuuki Bando Profile
Yuuki Bando was born in Tokushima, Japan.
Acquired her high English skills as an exchange student in the U.S. and 4-year education at Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. TOEIC score of 935 (in a test in July, 2018. The score has been mostly higher than the average of 900 for 20 years).
Worked for a local publisher as an editorial staff member, did photo shoot and sales.
Also worked for a film-distribution company in Tokyo as a sales person for DVDs and produced the sub-cultural documentary DVD of “Sanuki-udon (one of Japanese traditional noodles)” .
Worked for a wooden furniture maker in Japan for 7 years from 2010. In charge of all operations in English, such as translation for communicating with foreign companies and designers, interpretation at the meetings or exhibitions held in Milan (Italy), Kortrijk (Belgium), and Tokyo (Japan).
Now, supporting various Japanese and foreign companies and also designers, including Kai Kristiansen, as an interpreter and translator.
Also, writing articles as a writer for several media, such as “Setouchi Finder” providing the tourist information of 7 prefecture surrounding the Seto Inland Sea.
Tour guide has also become one of business now, registered as a "National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter," “Kagawa Setouchi Local Government Licensed Guide Interpreter”, and also a “Setouchi Islands’ Guide” for Setouchi Triennale Official Tour.
